Round-trip in Yerevan

We made today a round-trip in the city with the guides. We walked a lot and saw a lot.
Firstly we visited a huge statue. It's one of their symbols, a woman with a sword and a torch.

In front of the statue, we had a wonderful view of the city and the Ararat.

We tried to take a group photo with the Ararat, that's how it worked out :

Then we went to another monument: a large pillar with a golden feather on top. In front of it, we saw a large construction site which was abandoned for several years.

After leaving this, going forward, we arrived at the modern arts' exhibition. This was particularly interesting, because there's a long stairway down the hill, full of the artworks. Even under the stairway, you can go up and down on moving stairways, surrounded by artworks. It was amazing, although some of the pieces were strange and I didn't consider all of them pieces of art.

And my favourite :

Than we went all the way down and took a group photo with a statue. In my opinion, this statue could make a perfect inquisitor, if it was painted red... :) ( it really is the architect, who planned the place)

Finally, we went to the restaurant and ate a great lunch. I already posted that wonderful meal.
